Umbrella Done!

And the first umbrella is done!  So pretty... Now I need to get to work on that shawl... oi!

Trimming the umbrella

So what happens if the weather during the Midwinter Festival is rainy all day?
An umbrella seems just the thing... only I cannot possibly have a modern day umbrella when I am putting in so much effort with the rest of the costume.  So I have bought a wheat colored umbrella and I am trimming it with a crocheted edge... But let us just say that this is taking a while!

Midwinter Fair shawl

One down.... hundreds (?) to go... If I crochet enough of these lovely delicate flowers and then sew them all together, oh what a lovely shawl I will have to keep me warm at the Midwinter Fair... This crocheted flower is only about an inch and a half in diameter though, so I had better get going!
